Work adjustment of CNC angle line | return to reference point

Supertime  Technical Department.

It’s allowed to operate the machine in the mode of work regulation, this mode is mainly for artificial adjustment. In addition, the operation of return to reference point, automatic measuring length and axis positioning has to be dong in the work adjustment mode.

Return to reference point
CNC angle line has three axes, axis Z is the roller feed, A axis is the A side of angle, B axis is the B side of angle.
In order to guarantee the precise positioning of three axes and the coordinate system, must carry out “return to reference point” operation first when start the machine.
During “return to reference point” operation, the parameters below must be set:
     Location of reference point
     Speed of returning
     “Crawling”- Speed after pass the sensor (the speed is set in the PLC)


“Return to reference point” has to be done in the PC. Choose “machine monitoring” in the primary menuthen choose the submenu of “Return to reference point”. After that, the screen will notice the users to choose the axis (X, A, B) they want to adjust. And click Exit to end the operation.


Launch “Return to reference point”

After launched the “Return to reference point”, savor motor moves forward at the speed of returning. When come across the reference point sensor the savor motor keeps moving and changes the speed into the “crawling” speed until receives the Z impulse of feedback encoder. This moment, the system will set the current coordinating system as “reference point”, the coordinating system in the screen shows green, “Return to reference point” completed.

As was mentioned above, during the  “Return to reference point” the savor motor moves forward. Before launch the “Return to reference point” the axis position must stay ahead of the “Return to reference point” switch and should not overlap the switch. Otherwise may lead to the false of the “Return to reference point”.

Caution and Notice



Cautionwithout the “Return to reference point”, the axes may coordinating system may be undefined.
NoticeWhen resistance occurs on one axis and leads to overload, savor motor may alarms or fault of clamp may happen. Therefore, system automatically deletes the mark of the reference point of the relevant axis and requires to “Return to reference point” again. And only after removed all faults can the work continue.
