How to choose drilling tools?
Drilling tools should be in correspondence with workpiece parameters and material. So very clear, tools for stainless steel and carbon steel are different.
Regulate cooling pressure and flow:
This can ensure outlet of chips from drilled workpiece; Cooling pressure and cooling flow is not enough, the two elements should be combined to meet drilling requirement.
Reasons of tools wear:
Long time use of spindle, spring doesn't have enough force to lock tool shank, causes damage to tools. In daily use, knife cylinder shouldn't be in open condition for long time.
Influence of spindle precision:
Spindle jumping errors influence directly on tools life.
Influence of machine geometric accuracy:
Spindle parallelism meets technical requirement? If not, the deeper drilling depth, the more serious tools wear.
Influence of machine rigidity:
If machine has bad rigidity, including gantry and machine frame, this will cause vibration of tool center line, drilling tools also vibrates, and damages tools, reduce tool life.
positioning axis low power
In drilling process, can't lock tightly guide screw, and causes vibration and great damage to tools and tool shank.
Influence of spindle low power
Not enough power of spindle will cause instability of tool feeding, thus causes damage to tools.
