CNC Drilling Machine Maintenance Methods

CNC is shortened from Numerical control, its electrical control system is different from traditional relay electrical control. In CNC system, servo motor, PC, CNC control, PLC electrical components are widely applied, regular maintenance is vital for machine operation. 
Take example of SUPERTIME CJZ series CNC plate drilling machine. 
1. The power supply should be kept steady, generally ±10% is allowed. Can equip with voltage stabilizing device if necessary, for reducing the impact of voltage fluctuations on electronic components.
2. Safety protection, earthing and anti-interference, shielding earthing.
3. During processing, oil mist, dust, or even metal powder will penetrate into circuit board or electrical components, and generates static electricity, and causes insulation resistance decline between components, even lead to damage to components and circuit boards. So regular clean by using dry compressed air is vital.
4. For some control systems with large amounts of heat, can equip air conditioner. If no, then open control cabinet for increasing radiation effect.
5. Keep regular energization even when machine doesn’t work, 1-2 times one week is better, and dry running about 1h, in this way machine heat can reduce humidity.
Machine mechanical parts maintenance:
1. Clean chips and other foreign matter timely on ball screw, linear guide rail and other key components.
2. Check regularly oil quality and quantity. Hydraulic system should be kept 4-6Mpa.
3. Ensure lubrication system work normally, pinion and rack oil quantity.
4. Coolant quantity should meet work requirement, choose cutting fluid with good rust resistance.
5. Spindle feeding and rotation mechanism condition, wear clearance should be adjusted after long time work.
6. Clean chips and foreign matter in mechanical parts timely.
